I received the sax earlier today and I just want to say how delighted I am with the instrument. It is much easier to play than the well used Yamaha student instrument that I have on loan. The sound is much clearer and lower register is full and rich. Also, I’m finding that I can easily transition between low and high notes and hit them most of the time without whistling, squeaking, which is great for one’s confidence. Thank you also for the additional mouthpiece … it is a monster! Very loud, I’ll be keeping this one if I get the opportunity to play in a rock band. I’m finding that one of the other mouthpieces is just perfect for my current situation. I can control the notes at a much lower volume, which will fit in with the orchestral band and make my neighbors much happier.
